Wireless pavement Sensor

Measure road surface temperature and detect moisture.

The VX 21 Wireless Pavement Sensor from MH Corbin is a fully sealed and potted device used to measure the true road surface and subgrade temperatures. The sensor can also detect the presence of moisture and road salt on the roadway and is fully compatible with MH Corbin HARWIS Stations.

The VX 21 Sensor can be used as an add-on sensor in your existing RWIS/HARWIS stations or deployed as an independent system that can be installed almost anywhere. The stand-alone VX 21 Sensor System consists of up to nine VX 21 Sensors, an enclosure, VXMS radio module, cellular modem and a sealed battery. The data is transmitted and viewed using easy-to-use web-based software from any internet-ready device.
